Environmental Aspects of Production

Companies must be located in areas that are free of impurities that are bacteriological, biological, physical and chemical (such as the swampy areas, landfills, settlements densely populated and dirty, the area is dry and dusty, near industries that cause pollution of air and water, near the port warehouses fouling and other sources), so can not cause infection and contamination of the product and a danger to society.

Considerations in selecting the location of the factory / production place:

  • Factory / production place should be away from areas contaminated environments or areas where industrial activities that cause pollution to the processed food.
  • The road to the factory / production place should not cause dust or puddles, with cemented, mounted stones or paving blocks and made waterways that are easy to clean.
  • Environment factory / production place should be clean and no rubbish piled.
  • Factory / production place should not be in an area that is easily waterlogged or flooded areas.
  • Factory / production place should be free of bushes or local pests.
  • Factory / production place should be a lot of public landfills, waste or slum settlements, junkyards and other places that can be a source of contamination.

Aspect Building
Buildings generally must meet the following matters:

  • Buildings and rooms appropriate technical and hygiene requirements: the type of food that diprodkusi and order process.
  • Easy to clean, easy to do activities sanitation, easily maintained and there is no cross contamination.
  • The building consists of a basic room (the production process), space support (administration, toilets, washing facilities and others).
  • Principal and supporting room space should be separated to prevent the contamination of the food.
  • Room production process: wide enough, the room layout in the order process, the bulkhead between space materials and processes / packaging.
