According to the classification types of fires there are 3 kinds, namely: Class A, Class B, and Class C.
1) Fire Class A
Type of fire class A fires are caused by wood, cloth and paper. For memadamkam fire class A then there are some substances extinguisher suitable for use include:
a) Air
b) Soda acid (soda acid)
c) gas pressure (gas pressure)
d) Air pressure (stored water pressure)

2) Fire Class B
Class B fires are fires caused by flammable liquids, such as gasoline, oil, diesel, kerosene, paint thinner and other solvents. To prevent fires do not occur then close all the fuel tanks, oil bottles, cans of paint and away from sources of fire / heat. “Do not use water to extinguish the fire class B”.

For class B fire fighting wear dry powder and carbon dioxide gas (CO2). Extenguisher foam (foam) used the most appropriate to extinguish fire class B.
3) Fire Class C
Class C fires are fires caused by electrical appliances, for example: electric motors, electric generators, cables, control boxes and electronic equipment. Class C fires can be extinguished with a liquid Bromochioro Diflourometane (BCF) or Dry Powder and CO2. “Do not use water or foam extinguisher containing the fire to extinguish class C”.
