Circulation Fire Burning Ceramics

Ceramic burning practices are intimately associated with the type of furnace used, including the circulation of a fire (fire stream). What is meant by the circulation of the fire is the way the flow of hot gases from the combustion chamber, where the hot gas produced up to the chimney and then removed. There are three types of circulation fire in the furnace, which is described below.

a. Circulation flames rising
The hot gas produced from the combustion chamber at the bottom and flows into the combustion chamber so that it heats the ceramic objects, then out of the chimney at the top.

b. Circulation flat fire
Hot gas flowing from the combustion chamber and then enter the combustion chamber that is parallel to the floor, and heating the ceramic objects, then out through the bottom of the chimney.

c. Circulation fire turned
The hot gases from the combustion chamber flows up because there was a wall of fire / bridge pickup (bag wall). The gas is then touching the roof of the furnace and turned downwards to heat the ceramic objects and flows into the channel below the furnace floor (canal) and out through the chimney.

Temperature ceramic fuel directly related to the temperature of maturity, namely the state of ceramic objects that have reached maturity precisely without changing its form. So that the clay can be transformed into ceramics, the clay has been molded to go through the process of burning at a temperature exceeding 600ÂșC, which makes clay transformed into a solid mineral Yanga, hard, and permanent.

These changes are called ceramic tile change or changes. Temperature maturity vitrified clay or ceramic is a condition that has reached maturity temperatures accurately without changing its form. For that before carrying out the combustion process, need to know in advance the type of clay used to form the ceramic objects.
